every once in awhile everything seems to come together. 
such was the case last evening during a senior shoot with monique. 
we adore everyone we shoot, yet there was still something so refreshing about monique.  she seemed to be inspired just by being herself, not attempting to recreate a fashion spread in her favorite magazine and that in turn inspired us.

this in a thunderstorm?
knowing there’s a large storm coming, we have on occasion re-scheduled.  most of the time we decide (client willing) to give it a go.  in doing so we are often rewarded with incredibly moody skies and brilliant colors.  last night however we got a little something extra we’ve never had in a portrait… see the last pic below.

thanks to monique for the inspiration.  the most beautiful thing we can all do is just be who we were created to be, ourselves.   what a rock star.
