i was stoked to get to shoot an editorial piece for a rockin mag this week. the story is about a glider club.
i was able to go up in a glider to shoot another glider in formation. i was pretty bummed about the smoke in the air, it really decreased visibility and created a haze over the mountains. that being said, it rocked.
after getting the shots we needed, the pilot decided to show me what a glider could do. pointing the nose to the ground, we descended quickly, then pulling back, we looped back and he did a wing over then a knife edge maneuver.
apparently, even in an aircraft without an engine, you can still pull about 2g's…
two pics:
i had the pleasure of shooting the central oregon symphony, conducted by Michael Gesme, recently.
The musicians always put on an amazing performance and i highly recommend checking them out this fall. you can view their website here. a few images…
