My Sister-in-law is a rockstar.  She's traveled the world, she helps the needy and without going into great detail (pinching midgets) her life could truly be a sitcom to rival all sitcoms.
To top it off, she's going to marry a fireman.  My five year old is stoked about "uncle" Jimmy.

We don't always shoot engagement sessions in places that people have been murdered…  Found that one out after the fact…  Anyway, after some sushi and Starbucks (it tasted better than it sounds) we headed East for a wonderful time of hangin out and taking pictures.

Meg, Jimmy, we love you guys.
Rock on…

This is one handsome, toned and loving animal.  In attendance at his parents engagement shoot, he deserves his own post…
World, meet Jake…

Lauren received an email from Robert, the pastor we've been in contact with who lives in Uganda.  Robert frequently travels to the Sudan to bring aid to those in need.  The women of the villages he's traveled to have sent jewelry back with him to send to us.  Lauren and her friends have sold thousands of dollars worth of necklaces and that money has been used to purchase food and mosquito nets for suffering families of Southern Sudan.  Robert included some pictures he took from his most recent trip and we'd like to share them with you.  You'll see pictures of Robert ministering and handing out supplies, as well as some kiddos holding up their new mosquito nets.  This is actually a rare glimpse into the lives of families who have suffered much.  I can also appreciate these image in that, Robert who is African, can blend in a bit more than I could : ) This enables him to capture life as it is, not life as it is with a very pasty white American with a huge camera pointed at them…
Please keep these people in your thoughts and prayers…
